If you want to progress in life, you cannot keep implementing the same unproductive habits over and over, because that will keep you exactly where you are now.
The same habits create the same thought patterns that lead to the same behaviours, and the same action lead to the same results.
You end up progressing no where because you’re attempting to create a different result, but you’re still doing the same things.
It’s like the definition of insanity.
Doing the same things over and over again and expecting a different result.
It’s not going to happen.
You have to change the unproductive habits you currently have now.
If your current habits are not giving you the results you want, doesn’t it make sense to change them?
As an example, if there’s someone who’s trying to lose weight, yet they are constantly eating above the recommended calories, they’re going to struggle to lose weight, aren’t they?
The habit of overeating is one of the biggest causes of weight gain.
It’s a very unproductive habit.
You can’t change the results unless you change the habit.
Just like the example, your life works in exactly the same way.
You can’t progress forward in life without changing your unproductive habits.
These unproductive habits are keeping you in the same place and giving you the same results.
When you change the habits, you will change the results.
The best way to change those habits is to begin doing something different in the direction of the experience you wish to experience.
Don’t try to change multiple things at the same time.
Change only one thing at a time.
It’s important to note however, that you have to be determined and disciplined enough to stick to your new habits until you acquire the results you’are after.
Creating a new habit takes between 30 and 45 days to create.
After this new habit has been created, you will automatically begin following that new behaviour, gradually providing you with the results you want.
If your current habits are not serving you and slowing down your progress, change them.
