How much belief do you have in yourself that you can accomplish the goals you’re heading towards?
If you don’t have the belief within you, the self belief, the faith that you can achieve whatever it is you want to, you will find it difficult and may perhaps struggle to achieve.
If consciously you want to achieve something, but unconsciously you don’t believe you can, then your conscious and unconscious minds will have a conflict and nothing will be done.
You’ll probably experience moving slightly forwards, then you’ll move slightly back again.
So you have to have the belief in yourself and your abilities that you can do it, that you can accomplish it.
I understand that many people struggle to create that belief within themselves that they will accomplish what it is that they want.
But without the belief, without the faith, it will always remain an uphill struggle.
You have to have that belief.
One of the best ways, and it’s a technique I‘ve used for many years is called auto-suggestions, or affirmations.
If you keep repeating something over and over again, eventually your unconscious will start to believe it.
This then becomes a permanent belief within you.
It won’t matter if this new belief is beneficial or detrimental to you.
Your unconscious will only follow the program this belief has created.
These beliefs aren’t created when you do something once.
They are created through repetition.
This is how we learn and create habits in our minds.
Unfortunately, you mind does not work like a computer where you can just upload a new software and off it goes.
With the mind, to change a habit or belief, you have to repeat the software update over and over again.
Usually for around 30 days or so.
Once the new ‘software’ starts kicking in, you will begin to notice the change in your habits and beliefs.
Ideally you want a high belief in something.
If your scale is between 1 and 10, you want a belief of around a 10.
You need to have that high inner belief within you can accomplish what you set out to achieve.
There should be no doubt.
If your belief system is stuck on around 1 to 5, you must discover what it is that’s stopping you from believing more.
Why is you belief not higher?
Is it due to past failures?
Lack of knowledge or resources?
Or is it a fear of rejection or being laughed at?
Whatever it is that’s holding your beliefs back, find them, and change them.
If you don’t, you will struggle.
Unless you believe deeply in yourself, any form of success will ultimately prove to be difficult.
